Lovely family run hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms with everything you need for a stay, would recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Blairgowrie. Also a tasty restaurant downstairs with good coffee and a bar.

Booked for a meal with dogs in the bar area. Staff were great, nice menu. Only a couple of tables for eating in the bar with dogs. Food was excellent.

I liked the main bedroom, looked very cozy and welcoming. Lots of space, good decor. Nice complimentary tea/coffee in the bedroom. Bed was comfortable. Good to have a restaurant and pub just downstairs! In the restaurant, the "special" dessert "Oreo chocolate cake" was absolutely divine and huge! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bathroom was ok, but could see it was renovated cheaply. Electric shower has low water pressure as usual, no door on the shower. Little space for toiletry. Also no table in the bedroom, despite lots of space available. The bed lined was a bit worn and had some marks. In the restaurant, the "chicken" main was tasty but the portion a bit small. Overall, very good stay for an "inn", good restaurant and pub just downstairs.

We visited here last week (me, my husband, son and his partner) as we were staying in a holiday cottage about a minutes walk away. The gentleman serving was polite and chatty, and asked us about our holiday and where we'd been. We all had 3 courses which arrived really quickly and was absolutely incredible! It is definitely the best food we've had in a long, long time. (I forgot to take a photo of the main course!).

Had breakfast here and the food was excellent, very high quality produce and served hot and fresh. The restaurant was quiet when we went in but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Stornaway black pudding and proper butcher sausages made the Scottish breakfast worth every penny, my daughter had pancakes with fresh strawberries and Nutella which were also excellent.

This place is amazing! There are so many vegan options to choose from. We had the bang bang cauliflower, fried rice with veggies and "chicken", garlic mushrooms and vegan chicken bruschetta. They were all delicious. My partner had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which he really enjoyed. The bar area is dog friendly which was perfect for us. The atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly, we're already planning our next trip back!
